Board Members and Staff

The Board consists of seven members (Five licensed optometrists and two public members) who are appointed by the Governor to serve a four-year term.

The Board is required to meet at least six times a year and establish policy, adopt substantive and procedural rules, and assist with the examination of licensure and enforcement activities for the protection of the public.
